General

Mark Jones is the current owner and administrator for the Mario Kart Players' Page.

Career Highlights

• Joined the Mario Kart 64 Players' Page in June of 2001.
• Competed in and briefly held WRs/SRs in Mario Kart Super Circuit, Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart Wii.

Contributions

• In August of 2001, Mark founded the original (and now defunct) Mario Kart Super Circuit Players' Page which has since been redesigned by Alex Penev and is currently maintained by Tom Gaffikin.
• In February of 2003, Mark created the Mario Kart Players' Page Messageboard and still serves as its primary administrator.
• In November of 2003, Mark founded the Mario Kart Double Dash Players' Page which has since been redesigned by and is currently maintained by Alex Penev.

Personal

• Mark is married and lives with his wife in Irvine, CA.
• Apart from gaming, Mark also enjoys golfing and playing guitar.

Misc. Elite Contest Info

• Mark is incorrectly listed in the 2000 post club banner for General Chat. Based on the fact that he only has 900+ posts, one can only assume that some sort of sexual favors were offered to Jon Barber in exchange for placement in the banner image.

• Even though Mark has never competed in GoldenEye or Perfect Dark, rarely shows up in the AIM chat and posts sparingly in General Chat he often finds himself in the yearly summer contest. One can only assume that even more sexual favors were involved with various selection committee members. It is possible that word got out about Mark's incredible time of 0"59 on Dam Agent and 0"27 on Runway Agent.
• Mark attended the annual Virginia Meet in 2008 and 2009.
