Alvaro Fababu

Alvaro Alejandro Fababu Lopez, known as Alvaro Fababu (born 1991) is a Spanish karter who joined the scene in April 2007. He joined firstly the Mario Kart Double Dash Player's Site, being ranked #541 on his first week. He kept a gradual improvement during the whole year, ending it ranked #278 and earning the POM of August. Since then, he has slowly climbed through the charts until he reached his actual #148. He's aiming to break into top-100, although his mainly goal is to beat Alejandro Laflamme for the Spanish crown. At the moment he has 2 wins on him, one of them a MB FLap 25"872, being his best time ranked #22 and his first GOD time (becoming the worst player in getting one) Alvaro is member of the 6 Mario Kart Player's Site, being ranked averagely in all of them. Anyway, thanks to the lack of Spaniards in almost the 6 sites he's the owner of over 80 Cr's.

He joined the Kart Boards on May 2007, first under the nick of "Faquarl" and lately using his particular surname (there are less than 25 persons with that surname on Spain).

When he isn't playing Mario Kart he can be find on IRC chat. He's a skilled tennis and basketball player and enjoys his free time reading, playing Poker on online boards or listening metal music among others.
