When Gerard came back, NBT driving had been created and he was very strongly opposed to driving with this new technique.  He recently dropped his objection to NBT and moved up from #18 to #11 on the charts as a result.

Gerard was also a long time updater of the non-NBT PAL WR charts and news page.  He's also been involved with several kart meets which have been attended by [[Karel van Duijvenboden]] and Michael Jongerius.  He was also one of the karters to make the trip to London for the 2006 Worldwide Kart Meet.
