David Clemens
David Clemens is the Goldeneye 007 Champion. He first joined the Elite in late 2006, and just over 1 year later, he became the first to dethrone Bryan Bosshardt atop his #1 Goldeneye World Ranking. David is currently 21 years old residing in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. David became very interested in speedrunning GE after watching many World Record videos. Before he joined The-Elite.net he obtained Depot Agent 0:26 as his first WR. Shortly after joining, he achieved other easier, more common WRs such as Runway Secret Agent 0:23, Surface 1 A 1:03 and Archives A 0:16 (with a pair of 55s on SA/00A shortly after). Bunker 1 00A 1:08 was among his first good PRs (only Jim Barret and Ilari Pekkala had 1:08, and only Bryan Bosshardt and Wouter Jansen had better,) a sign of what was to come on that level, as he achieved 1:07 a month or so later, his first "good" world record.
In April of 2007, David achieved his first Untied World Record, which was Surface 2 00A 1:28. This WR went untied for the majority of 2007, until Henning Blom tied it in December, and shortly after beat it with an impressive 1:27. Since then, David has made a name for himself as he went on to tie a several of Bryan Bosshardt's personal records over the spring and summer, eventually achieving several other untied WRs including Surface 2 SA 0:53 and Bunker 1 00A 1:04 which are still untied. After rounding up a good bunch of tied WRs , Dave started to bring in untied world records by the lot over the winter. He got a pair of Archives 54s on SA/00A, shortly after getting such WRs as Bunker 2 SA 0:46 (2 second untied at the time), Aztec SA 1:38 (though he eventually got 1:36), Aztec 00A 1:43 (no longer a WR or his PR), Control SA 4:10 (now 4:07), Caverns SA 1:20 and 00A 1:37, Dam 00A 1:57, Surface 2 00A 1:26 , Bunker 1 SA 0:21 and his most recent and one of the most maxed WRs in GE, Egyptian Agent 0:45. His current main competition is Rayan Isran, but he has tied several of Rayan's WRs in recent times, including Silo Agent 1:02, and a few Control times which are no longer WRs. Overall he has 43 WRs, 7 of are still untied.
David Clemens has often stated that his favorite Goldeneye 007 player as he was starting his speedrunning career is Ryan White.
Outside of Goldeneye, David has a strong interest in Meteoroloy, music, movies and nature. His favorite bands are New Order, Joy Division, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Assemblage 23 and Christian Death. His favorites movie series is Indiana Jones and he also has a small scale interest in archaeology.
