Euro First Vote is held nightly at 00:00 CET in Elite Aim Chat for the duration the Summer Contest. Whilst the matchups voted on are usually the same as the official match that day, the votes cast during the Euro FV competition do not count towards the offical Contest result. Nevertheless Euro FV has quickly become the premier FV competition during the summer and is considered by most to be one of the toughest challenges in Gaming to excel at.
The competition is run by SZ, who shares hosting with Fal and occasional special guest-host Shep. Three points are awarded for being the first to vote correctly when the matchup is announced. Two points are given for second place and one for third. Following the vote a Prediction contest is held to guess how many votes each of the people involved in the match received. With the Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar Police omnipresent, this quickfire sub-contest rarely goes by without a heated temper in the room!
