Arguably his most-famous achievement on MK64 was beating the WR in Wario Stadium Shortcut. His lap of 2'44 used the mushroom-jump for the second wall, a strategy which was already widely known; but Fernando used Bowser, so it was the first in a long time that a heavyweight held a record on the site. His time was beaten later by [[Myles Bukrim]] and [[Greg Ihnatenko]] using the same tactic.
