Benoit Boudreau is a Canadian MKDD player and speed runner. He is the forum moderator of the MKDD section of the mariokart64.com forums. Ben joined the MKDD site in June 2005 and since then, he's been able to get into the top 40 (top 20 in 60Hz) while reaching the #1 ranking in Canada. Since then, newcomer Scott Dufault has dethroned Benoit from the #1 rank in Canada in early 2008.
Benoit is also the author of a couple of speed runs hosted at Speed Demos Archive. Namely, he produced MKDD's All-Cup Tour and a Single-segment run of Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures (SNES).
For unknown reasons, some of Benoit's YouTube videos got pretty popular for MK standards. As of this writing, all of his videos on YouTube combine for over 1.4 million views. This amount of traffic helped recruit great new karters such as Matt Tanzer, Scott Abbey and Scott Dufault to name a few. Benoit also contributed picture-in-picture videos (gameplay+hands) for "MKDD for noobs", a website to help out karters starting with Time Trialing in MKDD. The site was created by Thomas van Leeuwen, a dutch karter who also happens to be Benoit's biggest rival in MKDD.
