David 'Glitchman' Wonn is known for his numerous glitch discoveries in a variety of console games, including shortcut discoveries in Mario Kart 64. Many of these shortcuts are nowadays taken for granted. David was always willing to help others succeed at his discoveries, and created his own website to serve as a compendium of video game glitches. It included his own discovering, as well as user-submitted tricks. With his legendary past, Wonn is surely one of the more respected gamers Mario Kart has seen.

David was not a strong karter, focusing more on discovering tricks rather than doing hundreds of loops in a track. He did, however, wish to hit every shortcut in the game at least once (even if he discovered them, it was still difficult to pull some of them off for a decent time).

Word has it that Wonn was highly skilled in Battle Mode. One of the few players to have had the experience to play him in person was the Kart Historian, Kevin Booth, who visited David in Ohio. Supposedly, Kevin and David's sister hit it off, but that's just a rumour. An interesting trivia is that David is not Asian, despite how suspicious and stereotypical his name appears.
