Jacob Goldfinger

Introduction

Jacob Goldfinger was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 11, 1991 at 12:02 PM. Regrettably, the exact second of the birth failed to be recorded, so this is as exact as we're going to get. He is a pretty whimsical guy, almost always in a happy and light-hearted mood. His primary interests are sunshine, love, metaphysical philosophy, rodent breeding, and wearing turtle-neck shirts. If he isn't karting, there's a good chance that he is pursuing one of these interests.

Personal/School Life

Jacob attends New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois (a northern suburb of Chicago). At the time of this writing, he is on summer vacation between his junior and senior years. He lives in Glencoe (another northern suburb of Chicago) with his mother, father, sister, and two dogs. He feels that life is generally pretty boring, and always does what he can to make it a little more exciting.

Karting

Jacob made his first submission to the Mario Kart Players' Page on July 7, 2007. He was pretty bad then, with times like 1'54"87 NTSC on Luigi Raceway. He played every day after summer school and slowly worked his way up from Beginner A to Semi-Pro C by the end of the month. In August, he played even more, earning his only POW of his Mario Kart 64 career, and reached Elite F by the the end of the month. He spent the rest of the year periodically playing, ending it at Elite A. Since then, his Mario Kart 64 career has come to an almost complete halt. At the time of this writing, Jacob is King B, floating around the top 100.

Jacob has tried to play every Mario Kart game he owns seriously. But due to his Attention Deficit Disorder (which he is diagnosed with), he tends to give up after a relatively short period of time. In Super Mario Kart, he is in the NTSC top 100, but everyone knows how easy that is to do. In Mario Kart Super Circuit, he was near the top 30 at his peak. In Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, he is ranked in the lower-middle 500's. In Mario Kart DS, he is somewhat decent (the term is used very loosely), and is ranked in the top 200. Jacob would like to pursue a serious career in Mario Kart DS, as he surprisingly really enjoys the game, but due to his attention issues and general lack of the ability to be consistent, a successful career seems highly unlikely. ADD sucks.

As you probably are able to tell, Jacob isn't the best karter. He is more well-known for his activies on the Mario Kart Players' Page message board. On the board, Jacob is known as 'chili'. chili is infamous for his incredibly skilled use of the relatively new bathtub smiley, and he has popularized it to the point where it can be seen all over the message board.
