Nicola Torre

Nicola Torre is an Italian Mario Kart player, born 23th August 1994.

Nice! Tell me something about his story plz.

He joined the Player's Page in 2005, when he started playing Mario Kart DS. He managed to claim a WR on Baby Park fast lap in March 2006; after that, he managed to climb up to the Top 20, joining the Top 10 a few times. Since 2007, he has been playing sporadically, but he has never really retired; in fact, Nicola is still in the Top 15. In 2010, he got back the Baby Park WR he set four years before, taking it from Fabio Sacco, as he did in 2006; this is his second and last WR.

Nicola has also played competetively other Mario Karts; he has reached Top 100 in Mario Kart 64, being one of the first competitive players to play using the Virtual Console's game version. He has also sporadically played Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart Wii; he plans to get strong timesheets on all of them, but for now nothing happened (maybe because italians are lazy people...?).

Other than karting, he is also a well-known poster on the Message Board, and he often visits IRC chan #mariokart.

Other things

• He was one of the youngest MK players ever to get a WR (when he got his first MKDS WR, he was 11).
• He went in the same class of Ludovico Vittorio, which is also Iacopo Sorce's brother. Now they are in separate schools.
• He is the self-proclaimed King of MKDS Kiddies.
• He eats pasta 15 times a day, probably because that's what Italians use to do.
• His favourite karting enemy is Fabio Sacco: they've been playing WiFi since MKDS came out, and they've been battling since then. No matter who wins, the important thing is item owning each other: starramming is always welcome.
