'''Markus Hobelsberger''' aka '''MH''' (yes, just like the Mario Kart Wii track Moonview Highway) is a German video game player.
He started to play video games competitively in late 2005. Until 2008 he focused mostly on various games from the Mario universe, like the Mario Party series, Mario Sports, Super Mario 64 and Sunshine where he scored various world records (e.g. the series of Mario Baseball mini-games or the red coin collecting in Mario Sunshine) and all coin maximums and an almost complete set of Capless/Cannonless and Coinless Stars in Mario 64.
He even played Luigi's Mansion (PAL version) competitively. Markus was one of the first players who tried a 100 percent money run and held the world record for over one year from November 2005 to November 2006.
In 2006 Markus joined the MKDD Players' Page, soon followed by an entry on the MK64 site.
He played Mario Kart rather irregularly for most of the time and scored his last MKDD record on Mario Kart Wii's release day. At that time he just made it into the 60Hz Top100 with an ARR of Hero D. In Mario Kart 64 he improved his timesheet the last time in 2009, finishing at Elite Rank/Top250.
With the release of Mario Kart Wii he started to get more into real Mario Kart competition. As one of the earliest players he kept improving steadily for several months. The highest rank he accomplished was #12 on the Players' Page, currently after being TT-inactive for two years, he is still listed within the Top100.
Markus also plays MKW online since 2009 in the well-known german clan TTT.
