He is popular for leading the Star Dashers MKW Wifi clan and running weekly wifi tournaments for Player's Page members, though he has gone inactive recently. Before MKW was released he was best known in the community for being the younger brother of [[Paul Tanney]]. Despite Paul being a former MKDD champion, it was widely reported that Shaun would usually win when the two brothers played against each other.
