Matthias Rustemeyer is a German MK64 player. He has been an active member of the MK64 board for a couple years and became POY 2008. Moreover he was the 10th person to reach MK64's Non-SC GOD rank in October 2009. He entered the top 10 in September 2010, is the current German champion and holds 31 of 32 German records in Non-SC & 5 of 22 German records in SC. At the moment he's 2nd best player in the AF charts and in the World Ranking List.
His first World Record was driven on Wario Stadium flap (1'26"77 → current PR: 1'26"55) in January 2011, but MJ currently holds the WR again (1'26"43). Matthias got some more WRs after that first success (all times in PAL):

The most impressive WR is by far his SL flap. It's the first ever PAL 38 seconds sub, and he leads by 0"08 to the 2nd ranked MJ! LR flap was the oldest WR which persisted more than 7 years (since October 2003) till he broke it by 0"03 to set a new record.
