Nick started out playing as a casual player during the summer of 2008, but picked up the competitive aspect in the middle of August 2008. Joining the Players' Page in September 2008, he directly joined the site in the Top 60 in late September. From this moment on until the coming of 2009, Nick aggressively PR'd and ended the year strong breaking into the #10 at the #10 spot. Along the way, he picked up the POW of Week 4 of December 2008, and was the first person on the MKWii page to pick up 2 consecutive POM's.

Within 2009, Nick still PR'd quite a bit, pushing through the Top 10 at a rapid pace, and would close off the 2009 year at the #2 spot, several AF away from David McPartland.

In January 2009, Nick would go on to claim his first WR on the MT flap with 45:2xx. After this, Nick went on to increase his Regional and World Wide Top 10 domination by a big margin.

In early April 2009, Nick claimed his 2nd flap WR on the TF flap with 35:4xx, but was beaten a day later by Carlos Marcos, but one day after that on April 14th, Nick took it back with 35:261. To this day his flap has not been beaten and is currently one of the oldest flap WR's of MKWii. Later in 2009 Nick would pick up the KC and rBC flap WR's and would defend them a few times.

For a while, Nick was thought to be the best MKWii player without a 3lap WR (he had the most domination without ever getting a 3lap WR). This all changed on November 22nd, 2009. Nick finally achieved his first 3lap WR on the MT 3lap with 2:18.541, which is his favorite course. The previous record he beat was the current oldest WR beaten. Nick would continue to defend his WR two more times with 2:18.458 and 2:18.354 against the Japanese player ゼネル(Zenel)

== Taking #1 Overall ==

As 2010 passed, Nick broke the 1 AF barrier seperating him and David McPartland, and on January 10th, 2010, Nick took the #1 title overall. Since then, he has defended the #1 spot twice from David, and has been the reigning champion since February 21st, 2010.

One of his biggest highlights was his 2nd 3lap WR on the WGM no-glitch with 1:52.174. With this record, he beat the oldest WR by Sro, which stood for over 1 year and 1 month. He currently still has this WR, and would go on to take the rBC 3lap WR with 2:32.118 on May 1st and picked up the rDKM flap WR sometime in March/April.
