BRIO

Olivier "Brio" Brisson (born March 5, 1989) joined The Elite in Febuary 2009. Four months after he joined, Brio tied some World Record like the famous Defection 0:06 Agent WR and The Duel 0:09 Perfect Agent WR.

Brio got 9 World Records at Perfect Dark up to now. He still have 5 World Records 1 of which is untied. He never plan to stop playing for WRs.

History of Brio

1998 to 2003 - The Start

Oli started playing Goldeneye 007 in 1998 when he was 9 years old. He recieved the game for Christmas 1998. Then he spent a lot of time playing GE. Later in 2000, one of Oli's friend recieved Perfect Dark for Christmas. They played a lot together from 2000 to 2003. Then, in autumn 2003, Oli did the biggest mistake of his life and sold a big part of his N64 games including Goldeneye 007, Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie and Donkey Kong 64.. A FUCKING SHAME.

2005 - Speedrun

Brio stopped playing GE and PD until Spring 2005 when he borrowed the PD cartige game of his friend. He discovered the existence of The Elite during this period of time when he first saw some Goldeneye videos on Speed demo archive. Brio played through Perfect Dark and never finish the game in Perfect Agent.. Yet.

In Autumn 2005 Brio finally discover The Perfect Dark Elite and watched a lot of PD speedrun videos (Most of them were from Your Eliteness). He tryed to speedrun for fun some levels like Attack Ship, Carrington Institute, Maian SOS and of course the famous Defection Agent glitch. He don't really achieved good times and then he stopped playing.

2006 - Buy the Perfect Dark game

Finally March 24th, 2006 Oli bought his own brand new Perfect Dark game. He speedruned some of the levels more seriously but another time, it was just for fun. Brio stopped playing for a while when he started college in autumn 2006 (in an intensive animation program).

2009 - Joining The Elite

At the end of his school session in 2008, Oli failed an important course at school. This cost him six mounth of no intensive work. He got a LOT of free time. Brio started to watch some Red Bull speedrun video on youtube which awaken him the taste of speedrunning Perfect Dark. He started speedrunning just for fun but it quickly became more serious. BRIO started to climb the PD rankings.He finally finished the whole game (in Perfect Agent) and bought a Nintendo 64 PAL. In five mounth he passed from 457th to 89th. Brio got also 5 WR (including the cakey Duel A/SA) during this time.

Oli finally redeem GoldenEye 007 during the summer and went quickly through the levels. He didn't really speedrunned the game seriously.

During his summer holidays he got the Chicago Agent and Special Agent WRs. Then stopped playing PD intensively since he returned at school for the end of the summer. BRIO played a little PD during the autumn and got some "OK" PRs at Rescue and Pelagic II. Then he really stopped playing for a good 6 mounth due to the making of his first animated short "Les Amis" (Friends)

2010 - A little PRing

After he finished his movie, BRIO quickly got Defense Agent 0:50 (1 second off the new WR set by David Clemens in late 2009) and he PRing a little bit during the summer and the autumn of 2010. Without getting WRs due to a lack of time, BRIO keeps in mind to get and take back WRs (since he loose 2 WRs Defection 5 set by Ilari Pekkala and Chicago 26 set by David Clemens the same day 07/11/10). He didn't really stopped playing and still kept in mind to get WRs when he had enough time to put in the game.

BRIO also 100% finished for the first time GoldenEye 007 06/11/10.

2011 - Busy year

Brio had a busy year at school and didn't planned to play a lot this year. Anyway, he started the year in force with his 7th unexpected WR: Defense A 0:49 (12/01/11). It was his last WR for a while but he FINALLY got the Agent WR on this level that he worked on (for 0:52) long time ago, before the new warp strat was discovered in 2009. Oli PRing a little GoldenEye during his holiday summer, a bit more seriously than previously, but not as serious as PD.

2012 - Untied World Record, Defense Pwnage

At the end of his 2011 school session, Brio failed another time some courses. He decided to invest some time in Perfect Dark. He got his first Untied world record at Defense PA which was a 1 second cut from the previous record set by Denis Lucid in 2009.

BRIo The Name

When Oli joined The Elite, he took a nickname that his friends called him at school. It means the first three letters of his family name followed by the first one of his first name.

Oli have a passion for Drawing. He got his first diploma in cartoon animation in may 2010 "Les Amis" (Friends). He is currently about making a second diploma in 3d animation that will end in 2013.

Oli also hold his own live action movie web site LA MAYOCHE.
