About Me

I found The Elite in January 2006 and live in Nottingham, England. I am 30 years old and work as a website developer/computer programmer. I still play GoldenEye most days and I'm ranked in the top 30 but have had more success on the Licence to Kill (LTK) and Dark Licence to Kill (DLTK) settings. My favourite levels are Control, Statue and Jungle and my most hated levels are Archives, Train and Depot.

I usually watch one or two films a day and have watched over 2,000 different films including all of the IMDb Top 250 and Best Picture Oscar winners. I like action and thriller films best and my favourite films are Speed, Cool Runnings, GoldenEye, Forrest Gump and Saving Private Ryan. My favourite actors/actresses are Bruce Willis, Sandra Bullock, Cary Grant, Jackie Chan and Audrey Hepburn.

My favourite types of computer games are usually racing games and adventure/role playing games. The game franchises that I like best are Final Fantasy, Zelda, Secret of Mana, F Zero, Wave Race, Mario Kart and Civilization. When I was younger, I was a member of the England Junior Chess Team but don't play much now.

The other GoldenEye players that I have met are Graham Maddocks and Axel Zakrisson.

Normal Mode

I am currently ranked in the GoldenEye top 30 on the world rankings and have recently moved up to second place in the UK rankings behind Luke Pettit on points and Graham Maddocks on time.

I starting using control style 1.2 in 2011 and bought a NTSC console in March 2012. Since then I've been working on some of the NTSC advantaged levels, especially those with some of the weaker world records and have achieved three tied world records since then to go with the one I already held. My current normal mode world records are Dam AG 0:53, Runway SA 0:23, Streets AG 1:13 and Cradle 00A 0:36 but I will be playing for some more world records such as Streets SA/00A, Statue, Bunker 2 AG and Runway 00A in the near future now that I have NTSC.

Licence to Kill Mode (LTK)

I first started playing LTK mode in late 2006 and have completed all 20 levels. I am ranked first on points and second on time and have held thirteen of the LTK world records and currently hold nine (seven untied). My LTK world records are Runway 0:44, Silo 2:13, Statue 2:29, Streets 2:59, Train 3:15, Control 4:38, Caverns 3:11, Cradle 0:34 and Aztec 2:18.

Dark Licence to Kill Mode (DLTK)

I first started playing DLTK mode in late 2006 and have completed sixteen levels. This is the mode I like playing best and have had most success with. I am currently ranked second behind Ilari Pekkala and have held eleven of the world records and currently hold seven (all untied). I'm having a break from DLTK for a while to concentrate on normal mode but I'm going to come back and try the levels I haven't played yet and improve some of my other times and world records.

My greatest GoldenEye achievement came in January 2010 when I became the first proven player to complete Train DLTK. My DLTK world records are Dam 9:08, Runway 0:43, Surface 1 2:06, Train 29:00, Control 12:03, Caverns 8:54 and Cradle 0:55.

Turbo Mode

I played this a lot early in 2007 but don't enjoy it as much so haven't played it much since. I hold nine world records (one untied) but nobody ever plays this league or updates the rankings any more.
