Takahiro "Taka" Arai joined The Elite in April 2005, becoming its first Japanese member.
He immediately made a name for himself on the Perfect Dark rankings, securing a place in the Top 10 within several months. On his way to the upper echelon of the rankings he has amassed many World Records, including Escape Agent 2:25 (untied for months), and a sweep on Carrington Institute (0:52/1:29/1:44).
Taka recently lost his champ status, as fellow Japanese Eliter CEDRIC passed him. But Taka is still 2nd in points and actually still 1st in total time, holding a total of 4 Untied World Records, including an insane untied sweep on Escape (2:21/3:15/3:16).
Taka has also made good effort in Goldeneye, where he currently is ranked 24th and has gotten an uncommon World Record in Streets Secret Agent 1:55. Taka is one of only five players that has managed to get a rare time below 3:00:00 and is currently ranked 3rd in rare total time.
