David "DavidK5" Kovaz (better known as just DK) is a former Perfect Dark player from Florida who joined The Elite early in 2005.

In the following months he climbed into the top 50, but then began focusing his efforts almost exclusively on WAR!. After many months and several hundred hours of playing, he managed to obtain all three World Records for WAR! (0:25/0:46/0:54). Late in 2007, after spending many more hours trying to untie WAR! 2008 Summer Contest
- Despite still being relatively unknown outside of chat, DK was tasked with collecting votes for the 2008 summer contest.
- In his first ever contest appearance, he made an unlikely run to the Final 4, where he was defeated by eventual contest champion Wouter Jansen.
- Won the Bronze Medal Match against former contest champion Shade.
- Did NOT fall victim to the dreaded
