Dirk Olson

Dirk Olson began his speedrun career in the Summer of 2000 as PerfectDarklich, one of the earliest members of the Perfect Dark Elite. He was one of PD's top competitors in 2000 before moving on to Goldeneye, where he combined with hometown pals Randy Buikema and Greg Lavery (along with Paragon) to form the "PD Invasion" of 2001. The invasion ended with Dirk reaching his peak rank of 7th place overall, just ahead of Paragon (in 9th) and behind Zeebo (6th) and Randy (1st place).

Since then Dirk's biggest Elite impacts have revolved around the Elite Summer Contest, where he pulled a surprise upset of Jimbo Barrett in 2004 before stunning the league by repeating the feat in 2005. 'Lich has likewise made his mark in the Elite's NFL prediction pool, taking home the season Championship in 2004. It seems as though luck has always been on Dirk's side; he also won $10,000 in the Illinois State Lottery that same year.
