Trouble in Paradise

Trouble in Paradise (TiP for short) is the first level on the game James Bond 007 in Agent Under Fire.

Speed Runs

All strategies assume all upgrades are unlocked. Always skip cutscenes if possible.

Operative

• The current World Record is 1:46, held by Ben "BDOWN" Downing, Ben "FalcoFantastique" Southward, and Ben "Cygnus" Goldberg. A video of a 1:47 run can be found here.

Pull out your Q-Claw and pull yourself up to the roof. Look to the right as soon as you can and run down the short ramp, taking out your Golden Gun in the process. Fall down the hole at the end of the ramp. As soon as you do, duck and back up until you fall down again. Go forward and enter the elevator to the right. Activate it.

Quickly shoot the guard and jump over the desk. Take out your Q-Laser and cut the lock on the gate. Make sure not to get too close to the gate before cutting the lock, as to prevent a cutscene from going off. Head down the corridor and make a right as soon as you can. Hug the right wall and jump over the first box and go around the second stack. Do not shoot at anyone. Keep heading down the corridor. Shoot at the guards that come at you, to prevent them from slowing you down.

Head forward and shoot at the bush in your way. Jump over the obstacles and head to the light. Get around the guard in your way by shooting him or by dodging him. Pick up the suitcase and enter the elevator.

Head up the stairs and onto the ramp. Take a left where the walkway splits and head down the stairs. Mash the A button and activate the elevator from the other side if possible. Duck and turn to your right. Duck and strafe to the right to exit the elevator as quick as possible. Head forward and shoot the second barrel on the right edge, not the first one that pops up real quickly. Hug the right edge, but go around the metal box instead of jumping over it. Make a right and shoot both barrels in front of you. Stay on the right and shoot the box in your way to blow it up. Ignore the guard as you make the right, but do shoot the two guards that come out of the door. Take out your Q-Laser and head to the submarine, but do not board it. Run down the little ramp that leads on to the submarine, but stop at the end of it. Aim where the lock is, and cut it, even though you can't see it.
