Night of the Jackal

Night of the Jackel (NotJ for short) is the sixth level on the game James Bond 007 in Agent Under Fire.

Speedrun

All strategies assume all upgrades are unlocked. Always skip cutscenes if possible.

Operative

• The current World Record is 2:23, held by Ben "BDOWN" Downing.

Run forward and take out your Q-Grapple. Take out your Golden Gun. Make a right and follow the fence. Keep heading forward until a terrorist pops out. Shoot him and go through the doorway he came from. Look up and shoot the sniper on the balcony. Look a little to your right and grapple up to the ledge. Jump to the balcony where you killed the sniper and pick up his sniper rifle. Grapple to the other side. Shoot the window out to your left and jump through it. Enter the bathroom and take out your grapple after you skip the cutscene. Grapple across to the other side and fall down to your left. Open the door to your right.

Jump up the stairs and get a running start for the next set of stairs. Jump up them to get a speed boost. Open the door and kill the terrorist in the next room. Go back and kill the terrorist in the hallway. Shoot through the window and kill a terrorist in the next room. Jump through and kill the other two terrorists. Head down the hallway and open the door to the kitchen. Shoot the terrorist in your way. Jump over the counter and head through the hallway, shooting at the terrorist as you run. Open the door with the British flag on it and open the elevator. Get the body armor behind you if you need it.

Run through the little room and open the door. Wait for the Jackal to stop talking and shoot her until she runs. Quickly shoot the barrels behind her and quickly reload as she runs again. Shoot her again until she runs again. Push the button to kill her and head up the ladder. Open the door and take out your sniper. Head to the right side and look left. Wait for the helicopter to dive down and use your scope on your sniper. When the helicopter pops back up, pop the helicopter pilot in the head and take out your golden grenades. As soon as the helicopter blows up and starts to fall, throw a few grenades. The level should quickly end.

Without throwing the grenades, you have to wait another 10 seconds for the level to end. The reason this works hasn't been explained, but it does.
