Nintendo 64 High Scores features speedrun and high score competition for a wide variety of N64 titles, and has recently begun to cover some GC games as well. They award Nai WR's to top time holders. The site was originally founded in 1998 by Iacopo Sorce, aka Nai. In the year 2000, Nai instituted Player Awards (POW, POQ, etc.) that are very popular and still used on the site today.
After Iacopo retired from the site in October 2001, Andrew Kent saved the community by taking over the updating of the site for the next 1 1/2 years.
Aside from the 2 month stint of Daniel Hasting as the site updater, the N64HS was faithfully updated and maintained by Nicholas Harvey from May 2003 to May 2008. On May 23, 2008, maintenance of the site was handed over to Zack Allard and Steve Ezeta, with Steven Brown entering in Steve Ezeta's place in early 2009. As of August 6th, 2009, maintenance of the site has been handed to Myles Bukrim.
