These achievements were not to be repeated however, as Harvey made a bold decision to retire from the game in October 2003 by notoriously 'throwing his cartridge into a lake' - which has now become gaming slang for retirement throughout the community. Away from competition, Harvey was an infamous and often controversial character on the Elite chat forums, with his tendancy to spam, his off-centre tastes in music and his sometimes low-brow sense of humor, though he also made some firm friends within the GE crowd during his time. [[Jon Barber]] declared him "one of the most disgustingly hilarious people the community has ever seen" (whether that's an insult or a complement, depends on who you are).  As of 2008, Harvey lives and works in Bournemouth, England.

Harvey Manhood is a retired, British member of The Elite, first joining the Goldeneye ranks back in October 2000 during the end of the Wes McKinney era. Harvey debuted in 19th place, and was an active player for around 3 years, his most active period being the summer of 2003 when he made a move into 9th place.

These achievements were not to be repeated however, as Harvey made a bold decision to retire from the game in October 2003 by notoriously 'throwing his cartridge into a lake' - which has now become gaming slang for retirement throughout the community. He was not to play again until the end of 2005, when he came back to get one final tied World Record, Runway Secret Agent 0:23. This would be his final contribution to the game.
