Harvey Manhood, who joined the Goldeneye rankings in 19th place in October of 2000, is one of the few GE players still active from the pre-the-elite.net era.  Though for his first two years Harv was known only for having the most unlikely name on the ranks, he managed to turn quite a few heads in the early part of 2003 after a constant stream of PRs lifted him into GE's Top Ten.  When the stream of PRs dried up later that year, Harvey grew frusterated and decided to overcome his "obsession" by throwing his GE cartridge into a lake. (He bought a new copy of the game a few months later.)

These achievements were not to be repeated however, as Harvey made a bold decision to retire from the game in October 2003 by notoriously 'throwing his cartridge into a lake' - which has now become gaming slang for retirement throughout the community. He was not to play again until the end of 2005, when he came back to get one final tied World Record, Runway Secret Agent 0:23. This would be his final contribution to the game.

Aside from the Lake incident, Harv is most famous for being the biggest post-spammer in Elite history, not showering for 33 days straight, and mentioning either goatse or tubgirl every 10 minutes.  These traits have been parodied (with resounding success!) in both The Pwnion and The Gamer's Den.

Harvey Manhood is a retired, British member of The Elite, first joining the Goldeneye ranks back in October 2000 during the end of the Wes McKinney era. Harvey debuted in 19th place, and was an active player for around 3 years, his most active period being the summer of 2003 when he made a move into 9th place.
