Dan "Curbspaget" Peterson

Biography

Dan "Curbspaget" Peterson ("Kirby" to The Elite) does not play any games that The Elite does, although he is good friends with Perfect Dark and GoldenEye player, Ryan Koch. And sometimes plays Perfect Dark maps with him, the most notable map is Car Park, which they play with only proximity mines. Dan has plans on buying a used Nintendo 64 with some spare cash and then playing Perfect Dark -- and beating all of the WR's.

StarCraft

Ryan and Dan often play StarCraft together, and Dan has several StarCraft accounts, such as U.S. MuggleNet, curbspaget, Dr. Davian, SuPa ArCh, and, his main account, M4TTH3W, with a good starting record of 30 wins, 6 losses, and 9 disconnects.

Nicknames

A few nicknames that Dan has earned are curbsy, Kirby, and curbstomp. The last two being from none other than Ngamer himself.

Kingdom of Loathing

Dan is an active player in the online game Kingdom of Loathing with a level 10 character, curbspaget.

Forums

Dan is an active poster (almost everyday), but he only posts in General Chat and FFA. It appears that Ryan White hates him, but most people do not., and his attempts to get others to agree with him are futile. It appears that Luke Szklarz now agrees with him.

Personal Title

Contrary to what somebody (it is currently unknown who) put as his "personal title", Dan does not love Ngamer. As of now, all evidence of the title change points to either Come or Ngamer himself, who often abuses his administrator rights.

Half-Life

Dan is a big fan of Half-Life, and agrees with a small number of people that Half-Life is better than Half-Life 2, and will argue that it is true. He also has played most of the major mods (Opposing Force, Blue Shift, Counter Strike, Condition Zero, and Garry's Mod). The shortest amount of time it has taken him to beat the whole series (HL1, HL:OP, HL:BS, HL2, EP1) is two weeks.

Counter-Strike

Dan is a fairly active Counter-Strike player, and usually plays with his neighbor, Luke Conlon. Another favorite is Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, and Dan is currently working his way through the 'Hard' difficulty. He has no plans to buy Counter-Strike: Source in the future.

Garry's Mod

An avid player of Garry's Mod, both on-line and off-line, Dan has a photo gallery that he updates on occasion with screen shots of interesting contraptions and such.

Simon Pegg

It has been noted that Dan has an obvious obsession with Simon Pegg, and has actually mailed a letter to him. He hopes to meet him someday, and really get to know him. He is a huge fan of both of his movies, Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, and was recently allowed by his parents to see Hot Fuzz in theaters. Dan was amazed when this happened, because they have never let him see an 'R-rated' movie before. However, he was also very pleased.

Ngamer/Simon Comparison

Dan thinks it should definitely be noted that Ngamer does look considerably like Simon Pegg, although the similar appearance does not make him like Ngamer more just because he looks like somebody much cooler than him.

Peggster

Dan frequently posts on the Peggster.net Forums and has made a few friends within the community. Also note the site that the forums come from, Peggster.net.

Sony

Dan is a real hater of all Sony products, with the possible exception of the PlayStation 2, but only because it has the Guitar Hero games. Otherwise, all Sony products suck.

Blu-Ray

Dan is a major hater of Blu-Ray, and the PlayStation 3, and thinks HD-DVD is obviously the superior disc of the two, and is constantly cheering it on.
