Counter-Strike: Condition Zero

Counter-Strike: Condition Zero is a First Person Shooter released in March of 2004 by Turtle Rock for the PC. CZ creates a single player storyline for the classic Half-Life: Counter-Strike mod.

Speedrun

The Speed Demos Archive hosts Condition Zero competition. The current proven World Record for a complete-game CZ speedrun is 1 hour and 44 minutes, achieved by David "marshmallow" Gibbons in May of 2005.

Newer speedrun records have been achieved using methods demonstrated by the HL21 speedrun, such as changelevel trigger delay. For example, the current RTA World Record was achieved by DemonStrate on May 11th, 2014. That record can be viewed here: CZ: Deleted Scenes - Speedrun any% WR - 1:03:02. The speedrun routes for this game are still a work-in-progress.

A segmented speedrun is being worked on by a few members of the SourceRuns team. That thread can be found here: Counter-Strike: Condition Zero: Deleted Scenes.
