Castlevania 64 is an Action/Brawler released in December of 1998 by Konami for the Nintendo 64. The series began with Castlevania for the NES and has been going strong ever since.
Speedrun
The Speed Demos Archive hosts Castlevania 64 competition. The current proven World Record for a complete-game CV64 speedrun using Reinhardt is 1 hour and 13 minutes, achieved by David "marshmallow" Gibbons on April 6th, 2005. The record using Carrie is held by Guillaume "Shadow-Hunter" Davidson, who set a time of time of 1 hour and 5 minutes on August 10th, 2005.
