Alex is also a former Mario Kart Double Dash champion. He only played during the infancy of the competition, in early 2004, but rose to the top in a few weeks in January. He held the position for 4 months, and has been inactive since July 2004. Many new players and new strategies have arrives since then and pushed him well outside the top-50.

Alex joined the Mario Kart Wii competition in mid-2008. He has not played all the courses and does not have a rank, but he achieved most of his goals in the game by showing he could keep up with the best players; he achieved the lap record in most of the courses he practiced and briefly held a 3lap WR after optimising the 'Mushroom Mountain' shortcut to save an extra two seconds per lap. As of November 2008 Alex still holds the MG lap at 13'331, which is the oldest and longest-lasting record in the game. The previous oldest record, Alex's 22.7 PB lap, was beaten in Sept.
