William's main claim-to-fame was being the first player to reach the vaunted God rank in MK64. He also set a DK 3lap [[WR]] that was extremely fast for its time, more than 1.5 seconds ahead of 2nd place. His other claim-to-fame was his MK64 strategy pages, that described his preferred routes for the non-shortcut races. The strategies were littered with wit and humour, and were an interesting read even for those who could not benefit from their tactics. Unfortunately, William never managed to be world champion, despite being ranked at the very top for years. He was ranked 2nd behind [[Sami Cetin]] for some time, and while he eventually overcame Sami, it was not until after [[Michael Jongerius]] had taken the top spot. He is still occasionally active, even gaining a new WR on BC this year, and is currently ranked #4 on the Player's List.

He is a veteran in the community, but is still active on the forum and the chatroom. He is an administrator on the mariokart server, and on the forum.
== Early Days ==
William started his karting career early. 13 years before the release of super mario kart, his parents bought him his first kart, pictured above. You can see him keeping a tight line near the grass, although MTs proved to be quite difficult. Many years later, he stumbled across a friend's snes and mariokart, and played a little time trials, staying up late trying to beat his times. A week later, unable to find a snes to buy, he bought an N64 and mariokart64.
== MK64 Achievements ==
* First player to reach GOD rank on MK64, 6 years after the game was released
* First player to prove that SC GOD was possible. (by being the first to get the final SC God time)
* Beating Brian Gallo's fake DKJP time, and holding the record by over 1.5 seconds.
* Holder of a WR for the longest consecutive time period.
* First known player to achieve a WR whilst wearing a dress.
* Born on the exact same day as Michael Liem

He later had a much shorter career in the early days of [[Mario Kart: Double Dash!!]], where he used to have a fairly decent rank but has since fallen all the way down to 190th.
Unfortunately, William never managed to be world champion, despite being ranked at the very top for years. He was ranked 2nd behind [[Sami Cetin]] for some time, and while he eventually overcame Sami, it was not until after [[Michael Jongerius]] had taken the top spot. Born to runner up, he occasionally likes to quote Buzz Aldrin "Second comes right after first!". He is still occasionally active, gaining a new WR on BC this year, and is currently ranked #4 on the Player's List.
He has also done a lot of work as a staff member of the MK64 site. He was the first person to write detailed strats for the game, and reveal things that had been close guarded secrets until then. He created MK64's profiles, times viewer and several interesting extras, such as the "Super Duper Magical Matchup Program Deluxe".
He later had a much shorter career in the early days of [[Mario Kart: Double Dash!!]], where he used to be ranked around the top 10, but is now hidden in mid-table obscurity.

Surprisingly, William may well be better known for his cross-dressing than his karting. Posting a picture of himself dressed as a maid nicknamed Susan a few years ago, and supposedly taken at Halloween. The costume came complete with wig, laced dress, dust wand, apron, and an enigmatic pout. Susan is now accepted on the site without as much as an arched eyebrow, and is just as likely to be doing updates and driving times as William is.
== Where are they now? ==
William is now running the MKWii site, updating the news and awards, updating times when the updaters disappear, modding the forum, and adding many features such as the Domination page. His elaborate news updates often include humorous pictures and diagrams to keep the site entertaining. He also plays the game, having held the WR on his home course of DKJP in the early days of competition, and the WR on GV on the day the new SC was discovered. He is currently fighting to stay in the top 30.
Rumor has it that he is now also working on rebuilding the MK64 site to make it more automated and modern.
William/Susan is highly respected in the kart community, for both his karting achievements, programming contributions and personality (he has a degree in Math, so he knows something about everything).
