Resident Evil (GameCube)
Resident Evil for the GameCube (often refered to as REmake) is a Survial/Horror game released in April of 2002 by Capcom for the Nintendo GameCube. Because many changes were made, this remake is listed seperately from the original 1996 version of this game.
Speed Runs
The Speed Demos Archive hosts Resident Evil competition. The current proven World Record for a complete-game REmake speedrun as Chris is 1 hour, 33 minutes and 46 seconds, achieved by Shawn "smilingjack13" Jones on August 24th, 2005. Shawn also holds the record for fastest completion as Jill, at 1 hour, 29 minutes and 43 seconds. The fastest run as Jill with a rocket launcher is 1 hour, 24 minutes and 35 seconds, set by Trevor Seguin on May 19th, 2004.
