Joining "The Elite"

Hugo Carathorn van der Wolk has been playing Perfect Dark for a long time, but joined The Elite around 2004 as Hugo Boss back then.
He changed his name to Carathorn, as he was getting bored with his old name and liked this one better. Carathorn was his overall game name, which he used in other games like Imperial Conflict.

Getting to the top 100

Carathorn used to only play Agent and Special Agent. Therefore some of his Perfect Agent times were a disaster. In September 2006 he decided to improve some of these 20+ minutes times, which has improven his total time with more than an hour. By the time all these 'disasters-times' were gone, Carathorn managed to get into the top 100 time rankings, and is still steadily gaining ranks. He has yet to enter the top 100 in points though.
