No need to touch the springs here. Just get as close to the top of the start so you don't touch the top with the stick vertical, and then leave just before the stick is vertical. You should then be able to fit through the gap. Wait as little as possible around the last bend as this is the part that will cost the most time.
It might be possible to hit the front of the stick on the springs and then go round the corner backwards without stopping. That would save about 0.8 but nobody has managed it yet.
