Star Fox

Star Fox is a space shooter released in March of 1993 by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The game was released in Europe under the title Starwing.

Speedrun

The Speed Demos Archive hosts Star Fox competition. There are 7 possible routes for completing the game. The current proven world records for each route are:

• Best Level 1 time with warps: 0:14:56 by Sir VG on March 24th, 2007.
• Best Level 1 time: 0:25:15 by Sir VG on June 25th, 2007.
• Best Level 2 time with warps: 0:19:43 by Sir VG on May 29th, 2006.
• Best Level 2 time: 0:24:22 by Sir VG on May 30th, 2006.
• Best Level 3 time with warps: 0:26:13 by Sir VG on May 30th, 2006.
• Best Level 3 time: 0:31:53 by Sir VG June 29th, 2006.
• Best secret ending time: 0:10:26 by Sir VG on March 27th, 2007.

Speedrun Strategies

• During the levels, keep boosting, which is slightly faster than not. You don't need to constantly boost during boss fights.
