Metroid Prime is an Action/FPS released in November of 2002 by Retro Studios for the Nintendo GameCube. The series continued with Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
Speedrun
The Speed Demos Archive hosts Metroid Prime competition. The game has been run in a huge variety of ways by a number of different gamers. Records are seperated between the North American and European versions of MP, because of several tweaks that make PAL more difficult to run.
