Max Payne

Max Payne is a Third Person Shooter released in July of 2001 by Remedy Entertainment for the PC, Playstation 2, and Microsoft Xbox. The series continued with Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne.
Speed Runs
The Speed Demos Archive hosts Max Payne competition. The current proven World Record Speedrun for Max Payne on New York Minute Mode, is 25 minutes and 34 seconds, achieved in 63 segments by Nigel "ridd3r" Martin in summer-2010. Additionally, there is a single-segment record on dead on arrival (hardest difficulty) by the same player, completed in March 2010.
