Car 3lap
start out with the blue start boost, and immediately start tapping A if you dont use an autofire controller. also start a left facing slide. when you get into the cave, switch to a right facing slide, and hold it all the way till you start boosting thru the loop-d-loop. you can rest your thumb here from the tapping, cuz it doesnt matter if you tap during the loop boost or not. anyway, when you get out of the boost, start tapping A again, and get into an immediate right facing slide. slide towards the outside to grap the 3 bananas, then try to get back on the inside of the turn again. now here, this writer isnt sure what the best strat is, but what i do on first lap is take the first zipper thats off to the right then go straight forward and grab the two bananas in front of you. i think other people skip those and take both zippers on first lap, but then your speed wont be maxed out on the other two laps. experiment with each and see which one will get you faster splits and/or overall times, but i personally get the bananas. moving on.
after the zippers, there's a hard left turn. take it as tight as you can. when you enter the cave tunnel (maybe slightly before) start a left facing slide. slide backwards so as to grab the 3 other bananas that are in the corner. as soon as you grab the last one, quickly switch into a right faceing slide around the corner, then drive straight till you hit the zipper. as soon as you hit the zipper, get into a right facing slide. if you're lucky you wont go airborn and you can take this turn tightly. either way, as soon as you round this turn, switch into a left facing slide, and stay tight around this long left turn. even after the turn is over with, stay in the slide till you're at least over the first jump. from there, straighten yourself out, and go over the last few jumps til you reach the fork in the road. take the left fork, as that is where your last two bananas are, as well as a zipper. turn a hard left as soon as you hit the zipper, and that should take you across the line.
this ends lap 1. see below for laps 2 and 3.
Car flap
laps 2 and 3 of a 3lap attempt are basically flap attempts each time. if you do lap 1 the way i do, then the only thing that will be different in a flap attempt from the first lap is the straight with the two zippers. instead of just hitting the one, you'll go over both of them, then proceed thru the rest of the lap as normal. if you do lap 1 the other way (hitting both zippers), then flap attempts are the exact same as lap 1.
