Rich "Motox" Hatch was introduced to the Elite in March 2004 by [[Come]]. At the time Motox was one of the leading participants in The Kill Everyone Project where his ranking peaked at 14 in both kills and Gasgames. He has been a casual [[Goldeneye]] and [[Perfect Dark]] player and has several decent [[Mario Kart 64]] times. Rich also plays Starcraft and is pretty good at it!
Rich has competed in several No-Sleepathons and performed strongly. He can often be found in the Elite Chatroom and posting on the boards, where he domonstrated his high activity by ranking highly in the recent Who Is Here The Most? event. Rich is also a regular partipant in Elite Fantasy Sports competition.
He is the student body treasurer at his college (The College of Idaho) and likes to run cross country and track.
Rich is the winner of the 2008 Bayroot Tournament. Bayroot is a variation on [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beer_pong Beer Pong], drinking game with 128 competitors
In 2000, Rich won the inaugral season of the US TV show [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Survivor:_Borneo Survivor].
