Contra: Shattered Soldier is a scrolling Shooter released in October of 2002 by Konami for the Playstation 2. The series originated with Contra and includes many titles.
Speed Runs
The Speed Demos Archive hosts Contra: SS competition. The current proven World Record for a complete-game SS speedrun is 37 minutes and 51 seconds, achieved by Mike Uyama on October 26th, 2004.
