Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil 4 is a Survival/Horror/TPS released in January of 2005 by Capcom for the Nintendo GameCube. It was later ported to the Playstation 2, PC, and Nintendo Wii. The series will continue with Resident Evil 5.
Speed Runs
The Speed Demos Archive hosts Resident Evil 4 competition. The current SDA for a complete-game RE4 speedrun on normal skill is 1 hour, 50 minutes and 53 seconds, achieved by "Derek Taylor" on July 3rd, 2008. Tim Bright holds the SDA record for best single-segment time with special weapons, at 1 hour, 59 minutes and 7 seconds. The best European special weapons run is 1 hour, 43 minutes and 47 seconds by Tomi "sarou" Salo. The best Assignment Ada speedrun is 6 minutes and 31 seconds on the Nintendo Gamecube. The best Assignment Ada speedrun on Nintendo Wii is 5 minutes and 49 seconds by Robert "Sunblade" Brandl
