Derek "SnapDragon" Kisman is a videogamer and general smart guy whose long-term impact on The Elite cannot be overstated. As one of the original seven members of the Perfect Dark Elite, it was he who originally created the Elite Updater program which pulls people's PRs from their various self-hosted web pages and generates the rankings each update. Highly modified versions of this program are used to this day, both for PD and for the GoldenEye 007 rankings.
It is not going too far to say that without Snap, the PDE would probably not exist.
Snap has had an illustrious PD career and played a variety of other games to the same high level, but in recent years he only occasionally pops in to visit the Elite forums.
Snap is also probably the smartest person ever to be associated with the Elite. A massively intelligent puzzle-solver, he has represented Canada in international puzzle championships on more than one occasion.
