Arc the Lad is an turn-based Strategy game released in June of 1995 by SCEI for the Sony Playstation. The series continued with three PSX sequels, plus two more for the PS2.

The Speed Demos Archive hosts Arc the Lad competition. The current proven World Record for a complete-game Arc speedrun is 3 hour and 15 minutes, achieved by Jonathan "Brightstar" Fields on May 16th, 2006.
