Joris discovered [[The Elite]] in August 2017 after watching [[RWhiteGoose]]'s Speedlore episode 2 : Depot Agent, and was quickly fascinated by [[The Elite]] and the ranking system that they used.

After watching [[2015: A GoldenEye Odyssey]], a movie made by [[Jonathan Hotinski]] and [[Daniel Coelho]], Joris decided to join [[The Elite]] on September 23rd 2017. (He already started speedruning Goldeneye Any% before that in early September).
