Florent is a not a typical gamer and does not play a wide variety of games. Apart from SMK he loves playing Circuit Breakers and recently Pro Evolution Soccer, but more for fun than to really excell in them. He is however one of the best in the world at another classic Nintendo game, Super Mario Bros, being within seconds of the speedrun WR and holding the French Record.

With his all-round SMK ability many people expect that he will keep on winning the CDF for years to come (with the influx of competitors from outside of France the CDF will be known as CDE from 2008 onwards; CDE being an abbreviation of Championnat d’Europe, meaning Championship of Europe in English). With him being the man to beat now, he is in a totally different position then the one he was used to be in. It will be interesting to see if he can withstand this added pressure of living up to these expectations and keep on controlling the SMK scene for years to come.
