Just curious, but isn't glitch abuse obvious cheating?  As is sequence breaking.  IMHO.  Where is the pride of speedrunning without breaking the rules in any way?  Why, in order to be considered good, must one cheat in these ways?  I'd think a 'perfect' or 'optimal' run would be one you do with no glitching or sequence breaking.... but maybe that's just me.--[[User:TheRogueX|TheRogueX]] 14:03, 30 November 2007 (PST)

I think the sentence "This is about man versus machine" should be changed. It's a little misleading. "Man vs. machine" usually means that the man is competing against a machine at some kind of game.
