* Does the Wiki software have an option for mass selection of edits and one-click reversion all at once?  I've noticed that all the recent vandals so far have 10-letter names with letters 1 and 6 capitalized, so perhaps a "name flagged for review system" could put a stop to this wave.  Heck, depending on how much of the backend you can modify, you could have a weak text-based CAPTCHA ("solve this simple math equation") that the user is only required to answer correctly if their desired username matches one of a customizable set of patterns/regexes. ** It's a fine idea, and one I'll look into if the bot returns.<br>--Ngamer 22:47, 29 October 2007 (PDT)

** The bot struck back!  So to counter it I've installed an extension called UsernameBlacklist.  Now we can provide regular expressions that, if any new users attempts to sign up us, they get shot down.  (You can put in as many expressions as you want in a bulleted list and it will block them all.)  Feel free to add new expressions yourself if the bot comes back; you can do so at MediaWiki:Usernameblacklist.  Right now I'm saying "don't let anyone sign up with Capital Letter, any four characters, another Capital Letter, and then any other four characters."<br>--Ngamer 19:38, 30 October 2007 (PDT)
