Speed Runs

The current verified World Record for a 55 segment Tomb Raider speedrun (Playstation version) is 2 hours, 39 minutes, 30 seconds, achieved by Stacy "Kitty" Corron on March 29th, 2005. This is found on the Speed Demos Archive.

PAL/NTSC Note

Although the PAL version has slower gameplay, unlike a lot of unoptimised games some sort of compensation code has been adding meaning timing is exactly the same between versions despite this. Although there are reports of some copies that don't have this.
