Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is a Stealth TPS released in November of 2004 by Konami for the Playstation 2. It was later remade, with additions, as Metal Gear Solid 3: Substance. The series will continue with Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
Speed Runs
The Speed Demos Archive hosts Metal Gear Solid 3 competition. The current proven World Record for a complete-game speedrun of the European version of MGS3 on Extreme difficulty, earning the Fox Hound rank, is 1 hour and 29 minutes, achieved by Adnan Kauser on August 31st, 2005. Adnan also holds the fastest single-segment Extreme Fox Hound Euro record, at 2 hours and 2 minutes.
