Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem is a Survival/Horror game released in June of 2002 by Silicon Knights for the Nintendo GameCube.
Speed Runs
The Speed Demos Archive hosts Eternal Darkness competition. The current proven World Record for a complete-game ED speedrun is 2 hours and 27 minutes, achieved by Andres "Mad Andy" Montalbetti on March 8th, 2005.
