Secret of Mana is an Action/RPG released in October of 1993 by SquareSoft for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The series continued with Seiken Densetsu 3, which was never released outside of Japan.

The Speed Demos Archive hosts Secret of Mana competition. The current proven World Record for a complete-game SoM speedrun is 5 hours and 15 minutes, achieved by Frank "Seiken" Cid on August 26th, 2005.
