Darren Frickel joined the Perfect Dark Elite in August of 2000, becoming the league's 37th member. While his friend and classmate MLM quickly became a well-respected cornerstone of the Elite's new message board, Darren soon developed a reputation as the "bad boy" of the Elite. On September 5th, 2000 he became the first to take advantage of a security flaw in SnapDragon's automated ranking system. By setting all his times to 1 second, Darren "earned" all 63 of Perfect Dark's World Records for one update. Frickel was eventually banned from the rankings for these kinds of stunts, but he continued to wreak havoc on the message boards throughout the next year. Posting under the pseudonym of new member "JerryWins," Darren created an uproar by claiming many WRs without providing proof.

Despite his many bannings from both the rankings and the boards, Frickel eventually matured enough to apoligize for his past actions, and became the first Eliter to ever be re-added to the rankings. Darren continues to have an Elite presence to the current day, most notably because of his gigantic videogame collection (over 810 titles as of early 2006).
